COVID shifted how we live and also how some of us workout. Nashville business travelers now take Marathon Fitness on the road with them via laptops, tablets and smart phones. We serve a diverse remote coaching clientele that reside as far away as North Carolina, Colorado, California and India.

Lead trainer Joe Johnson is a former competitive powerlifter (American Drug Free Powerlifting Association) and bodybuilder (International Bodybuilding Federation) with two middleweight titles to his name. He also has three decades of training top athletes at all stages of their career.

Ideal for people who don’t like group workouts and/or have specialized needs or goals in mind. I’ve helped clients prepare for mounting Kilimanjaro and Mt. Everest, train for Ironman competitions and marathons, as well as recover from medical or mental fatigue.

If you’ve been to Marathon Fitness before, you’ve heard one of our mantras: “Eat your damn food!” Starvation diets are not the way to health; a well designed nutrition and full meal plan is. Along with Bod Pod testing, Marathon Fitness’ nutrition programs far outdo the broken promises you find online. You’ll eat lots of food to fuel your body and look (and feel) healthy and vibrant.

Marathon Fitness is not a traditional commercial gym ballooning with ego or attitude. Because we’re a personal training facility, you will often be one of only a few clients here during your workout. Your strength program will focus on movements and emphasize form and strength. Together, we’ll reach your goals.
